Individual Support
Financial donations provide direct and immediate support and donations generally qualify for tax deductions.
Memorial or Tribute Gift
To make a donation in memory of or in honor of someone, let us know. An acknowledgement will be sent upon receipt of your gift.
Pledges

Employer Matching Gifts
Many employers match donations to charitable organizations for their employees, retirees and family members. Some companies will match the gifts of employee spouses and retired employees as well. Employer matching gifts can double or even triple your donation to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County. To initiate a matching gift, check with the Human Resources Department at your and/or your spouse's employer. If the employer uses a Matching Gift form, please complete it and send it to us at

Planned Gifts, Bequests and Endowments

Donate a Vehicle
Thinking of donating your old vehicle to charity. Think of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County. Donating your car is an innovative and easy way to help. Donated vehicles qualify as charitable gifts and may be eligible for a tax deduction. (Instructions for reporting this deduction can be found in IRS Publication 526. If your car is sold for $499 or less, you will receive a tax credit for $499. If your car is sold for $500 or more, you can receive a tax credit for the sale price.
We welcome all types of vehicles, including cars, trucks, SUVs, motor homes, boats, airplanes, farm equipment, and construction equipment. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ventura County partners with a vehicle donation program that will pick up your car, process the paperwork, and provide you with a receipt - all at no cost to you!
How do I donate a vehicle?
- Identify the car or vehicle you would like to donate
- Have the following paperwork ready
...the vehicle title or
...copy of registration for duplicate title - Have the following information about the vehicle ready
...year, make and model of the vehicle
...VIN or license plate number

Donate Tickets
